Thanks for Being the Best Daddy in the World!

Making Some New Friends

     We headed over to Craig today while Daddy was off on his camping trip to hang out with my friends Anna and Alisha. Noah made friends with Alisha's little girl, Aria, who is an absolute doll baby. We went to my Grandma's and swam in the pool, ate, and gabbed...three things girls love to do most...at least THIS one does *giggles*  It was so nice being able to spend the day with these two awesome Christian women...it really lifted my spirits in knowing that I was going to go home and hubbz wasn't going to be there, so if you're reading this, thanks girlies....love ya for it! :-)  As all of you blog readers know, I'm famous for posting endless amounts of pictures of our daily events and as today was pretty awesome, it definitely is picture worthy, so here goes...

Random Thought

     I am thoroughly convinced that no matter how many times I vacuum, mop or clean, my child will without fail find EVERY SINGLE GRAIN OF DIRT on my floor. And then, try to eat it. *sighs*  I absolutely MUST find a way to cast aside my germophobia  and deal with the fact that boys will be boys...and that God made dirt...and dirt won't hurt! This was my random thought of the day. *GRIN*

Yeats' Poetry

TO A CHILD DANCING IN THE WIND
by: W. B. Yeats (1865-1939)
      ANCE there upon the shore;
      What need have you to care
      For wind or water's roar?
      And tumble out your hair
      That the salt drops have wet;
      Being young you have not known
      The fool's triumph, nor yet
      Love lost as soon as won,
      Nor the best labourer dead
      And all the sheaves to bind.
      What need have you to dread
      The monstrous crying of wind?
      PEACE
      by: W. B. Yeats (1865-1939)
          H, that Time could touch a form
          That could show what Homer's age
          Bred to be a hero's wage.
          'Were not all her life but storm,
          Would not painters paint a form
          Of such noble lines,' I said,
          'Such a delicate high head,
          All that sternness amid charm,
          All that sweetness amid strength?'
          Ah, but peace that comes at length,
          Came when Time had touched her form.

34 Pounds In 5 Months

     Well, I have done it!  I have lost 34 pounds in 5 months and I am very proud of myself. It has taken a lot of hard work and effort...and cutting out ALL soft drinks and most sweets but that's ok. I feel so much healthier than I did before I got pregnant with Noah Bug. I still have 11 pounds left to go until I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight but I'm really not the least bit concerned with that....I just keep repeating it over and over in my head...34 POUNDS, 34 POUNDS...I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!  Everyone kept telling me it would take FOREVER to lose that much weight...I hope I'm not coming across as braggy, but when you work so hard for something, and then are rewarded for it, it just brings such joy and happiness to your life. I'm back in my size 10 jeans, which makes me smile...but nowhere close to pulling out those couple of pairs of size 6s I have shoved away down in the deepest depths of my dresser somewhere, lol. Who knows if THAT is going to happen ever again...sheesh!  :-)  Anyways, I just want to thank all of you who have supported me and prayed with me on this matter...it means the world to have friends like you. I don't know what I would do without you! *hugs*
